摘要: The aim of this study is to test the ability intrinsic wing musculature develop in absence somitic mesoderm. The experiments were performed on 2- 2.5-day chick embryos either by replacing mesoderm adjacent field with a piece 9-day embryonic midgut or destroying, through local X-irradiation, not only level, but also at least three somites (or presumptive somites) anterior and/or posterior level. The replacement tissue scarcely affected organogenesis forearm musculature, when both bones present. In other experiments, radio-destruction severely impaired development muscles, which seldom all present and most cases entirely missing. given muscle involves simultaneous corresponding tendons. The possible origins muscles that formed despite removal are discussed.
