摘要: There are many parallels between T cell-mediated suppression of tumor immunity and immune responses to haptens polypeptides. We propose a cell interaction model which takes this into account outlines regulatory pathway for antigens. Free antigen or antigen/antibody complexes trigger an inducer subset, Tsi, is tumor-specific. This activates non-immune population, pre Ts3, generate effector suppressor cells, Tse. The Tse specific either the idiotype Tsi complexed with soluble factor made by but they mediate antigenically nonspecific. Tumor antigen-specific factors, TsF, play major role in communication different cells. Characterization polyclonal monoclonal factors produced called TsFi, indicates that both bind contain tumor-specific (idiotypic?) determinants.
