摘要: Insulin, proinsulin and glucagon extracted from lean rat pancreases were studied in radioimmunoassay, radioreceptorassay bioassay systems. Extracted insulin behaved identically to a used as reference standard radioimmunoassay. On the basis of its immunoreactivity, was slightly less potent (about 70%) than competing with binding 125I-insulin liver membranes (radioreceptorassay) stimulating glucose oxidation by fat cells (bioassay). pork indistinguishable two radioimmunoassay systems for glucagon, 125I-glucagon adenylate cyclase Genetically obese rats (Zucker, "fatty") compared their littermates respect insulin, pancreases. Proinsulin represented same proportion total immunoreactive both types rats. In radioimmunoassays, radioreceptorassays bioassays, It is concluded that pancreatic hormones ("fatty") possess immunoreactivity biological potency those nonobese This excludes possibility some alteration properties pancreas and/or fatty could explain metabolic abnormalities observed this type obesity.
