摘要: The introduction of internet technology has fundamentally changed the software industry. Instead using traditional licensing business model, firms now compete with a wide variety models, such as Software-as-a-Service, open source models and virtual communities. However, there is yet very limited research on these new approaches. This exploratory paper contributes to discussion communities by developing taxonomy how are used part model. Using survey data collected from Finnish industry, cluster analysis reveals four different ways that utilize in their business. resulting high-level towards an understanding role contemporary firm models.
