摘要: We have applied the method of Gor’kov for deriving acoustic radiation potential on a sphere in an arbitrary sound field. Generalized and force expressions are derived standing wave modes rectangular, cylindrical, spherical geometries case where radius is much smaller than wavelength (kR≪1). Criteria determining minima examples characteristic spatial profiles presented. Single that can sustain stable positioning discussed each geometry. The localizing strengths representative three also compared. In this paper, we consider samples due to forces only. However, developed here general be extended include gravity or other external forces.
