摘要: Intestinal tissues from SIV-infected rhesus macaques with subclinical as well terminal SIV disease were evaluated for infection. mononuclear cells detected throughout the gastrointestinal tract in all animals. In early infection, diffusely distributed lymphoid tissue and lamina propria, whereas late stages of disease, viral infection was more severe widely disseminated.
