Photocurrent Response in Multiwalled Carbon Nanotube Core–Molybdenum Disulfide Shell Heterostructures

摘要: In this report, a few-layer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) shell was coated on core multiwalled carbon nanotube (CNT) by facile solvothermal method. The morphology and high crystallinity of structure were demonstrated verified transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). After being integrated into planar device, the CNT–MoS2 core–shell exhibits clear photoresponse wide response range upon laser illumination. addition, device shows bias-dependent position-sensitive photocurrent effect. Further experiments show that larger obtained under illumination with longer wavelength. Both speed are enhanced when is placed vacuum condition. simple material synthesis fabrication method used in work may provide practical strategy for low-cost large-scale optical applications.
