摘要: Chromobox protein homolog 3 (CBX3), a core component of the heterochromatin proteins 1, is recently proved to be involved in human cancerogenesis and associated with prognosis patient. However, role CBX3 Tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) remains unclear. In present study we found that was upregulated TSCC tissues when compared adjacent non-tumor tissues, multivariable analysis showed high expression clinical stage cervical node metastasis, which an independent prognostic indicator TSCC. Furthermore, Kaplan-Meier survival log-rank test patients had poorer rate OS low expression. Moreover, knocking down inhibited cells proliferation both vitro vivo, while overexpressing promoted proliferation. addition, depletion resulted cycle delay at G1/S phase via p21 pathway. summary, identifies as potential novel oncogene TSCC, may act biomarker target diagnosis treatment this killer disease.
