摘要: Abstract In order to reduce the cost, volume and weight of bipolar plates used in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), more attention is being paid metallic materials, among which 316L stainless steel (SS316L) quite attractive. this study, Ta deposited on SS316L using physical vapor deposition (PVD) enhance corrosion resistance plates. Simulative working environment PEMFC applied for testing property uncoated Ta-coated SS316L. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) electrochemical methods (potentiodynamic potentiostatic polarization) are also analyzing characteristics Results show that, has significantly better anticorrosion than that SS316L, with current densities 44.61 μA cm −2 versus 9.25 μA cm a decrease about 5 times. Moreover, both simulative anode (purged H 2 ) cathode air) conditions smaller those
