摘要: The eastern Cape is a region of variable environmental factors, with flora estimated at about 3 600 -4 000 species and encompassing 21 Acocks’s (1975) veld types. It lies the edges major phytochoria present in southern Africa, many tropical reaching western limits o f their distribution, south-western Karoo northern distribution. apparently low incidence endemic to may be result selection for ‘generalist’ genotypes close proximity different phytochoria, which allow migrate between fill niches resulting from change.
