摘要: Abstract Under non-inductive environmental conditions longan trees (Dimocarpus Lour.) were subjected to potassium chlorate (KClO3) applications, solely or in combination with shoot girdling defoliation treatments, induce flowering. Treated showed visible flower buds four weeks after treatment, while untreated reference remained vegetative. Trees treated KClO3 and apical flowered terminally at the apex. treatment caused flowering exclusively lateral immediately below girdle.
