摘要: Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are pervasively transcribed and play a key role in tumorigenesis. The aim of the study was to determine lncRNA expression profile astrocytomas assess its potential clinical value. We performed three-step analysis establish for astrocytoma: a) examined on 3 as well NATs (normal adjacent tissues) using microarray; b) top-hits were validated 40 (WHO grade II-IV) by quantitative real time-PCR (qRT-PCR); c) hits with significant differences re-evaluated qRT-PCR 90 astrocytomas. Finally, 7 lncRNAs found have significantly different astrocytoma samples compared NAT samples. Unsupervised clustering further revealed 7-lncRNA differentiate between tumors upregulation ENST00000545440 NR_002809 associated advanced stages astrocytoma. Using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, we showed that low BC002811 or XLOC_010967, high poor patient survival. Moreover, Cox proportional hazard regression this prognostic impact independent other clinicopathological factors. Our results indicate may be biomarker prediction post-surgical outcomes.
