摘要: Abstract Two models have been proposed in order to explain the appearance of latent tracks induced matter by slowing down process ions electronic stopping power regime. The first one was thermal spike Desauer and reconsidered for metals Seitz Koehler. second ionic Fleischer et al that are insensitive excitation produced fission fragment irradiations. In both key is high mobility electrons metals. model considered as ineffective because too quick screening return which inhibits a Coulomb impulse. energy spread out large volume induce significant increase lattice temperature.
