摘要: The purpose of this study was to compare refractions measured with an autorefractor and by retinoscopy without cycloplegia. objective were performed in 199 right eyes from healthy young adults a mean age 21.6 +/- 2.66 years. measurements first cycloplegia repeated 30 min later Data analysed using Fourier decomposition the power profile. More negative values component M J(0) given non-cycloplegic autorefraction compared cycloplegic (p < 0.0001). However more positive for J(45) vector autorefraction, although difference not statistically significant = 0.233). By retinoscopy, obtained 0.0001); cylindrical vectors yields 0.234; p 0.112, respectively). Accepting that differences between are only due accommodative response, present results confirm when experienced clinician, is reliable method obtain starting point refraction under conditions.
