摘要: A histopathologic review of 1985 cases endometrial carcinoma yielded 31 undifferentiated carcinomas (1.6%). Forty-eight percent were large cell type and 52%, intermediate/small type. Twenty-one tumors examined immunohistochemically. All stained for keratin. Eleven reacted with vimentin antibodies, two carcinoembryonic antigen ten neuron-specific enolase (NSE) antibodies (four which bombesin, beta-endorphin, one prealbumin, five Leu7, four synaptophysin). The mean age at diagnosis was 63.9 years (range, 45 to 86). crude 5-year 10-year survival 58% 48%, respectively. Seventy-nine the patients in surgicopathologic Stage I 33% II survived 5 years. types had a somewhat better prognosis than type, but difference not statistically significant. presence or absence NSE immunoreactivity no influence on survival. infiltrating less half myometrium contrast 46% deep tumors. Fifty-four demonstrable vessel invasion 89% so affected.
