摘要: BACKGROUND: Since there is an increasing demand on the world market for alternative crops suitable organic production, spelt wheat (Triticumaestivum spp. spelta L.) a highly attractive farming option. Alternaria species are widespread and infect great variety of economically important crops. Certain known producers mycotoxins. The aim this study was to assess protective effect hulls covering kernels Alternariatoxins. RESULTS: Alternariol (AOH) alternariol monomethyl ether (AME) were evaluated in dehulled after plant inoculation with one A. alternata two different tenuissima isolates. Mycotoxins determinated using highperformanceliquidchromatographywithdioadearraydetection.ThedetectedlevelsofAOHandAMEwerefourtimeshigherin compared treatments. AOH registered at levels ranging from 227 331 µgkg −1 433 up 1647 hulls. AME predominant toxin detected range 277 398 1844 2183 hulls, significant difference water control treatment. CONCLUSION: Obtained results indicate significantly higher concentrations toxins than which implicate possible c 2012 Society Chemical Industry
