摘要: An elicitor of phytoalexin accumulation (endogenous elicitor) is solubilized from purified cell walls soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merr., cv. Wayne) by extracting the with hot water or subjecting to partial acid hydrolysis. The endogenous obtained binds an anion exchange resin. elicitor-active material released resin contains oligosaccharides rich in galacturonic acid; small amounts rhamnose and xylose are also present. preponderance fragments suggests that is, fact, a fragment pectic polysaccharide. This possibility supported observation treatment wall highly endopolygalacturonase destroys their ability elicit accumulation. observation, together other evidence presented this paper, essential constituent fragments. Endogenous elicitors were hydrolysis suspension-cultured tobacco, sycamore, wheat cells.
