摘要: The mechanisms regulating the differentiation into non-myelinating Schwann cells is not completely understood. Recent evidence indicates that GABA-B receptors may regulate myelination and nociception in peripheral nervous system. receptor total knock-out mice exhibit morphological molecular changes myelin. number of small myelinated fibers higher associated with altered pain sensitivity. Herein, we analyzed whether these be produced by a specific deletion cells. conditional (P0-GABA-B1(fl/fl)) show phenotype characterized peculiar increase unmyelinated Remak bundles, including nociceptive C-fibers. P0-GABA-B1(fl/fl) are hyperalgesic allodynic. In mice, behavioral downregulation neuregulin 1 expression nerves. Our findings suggest sensitivity derives from cell-specific loss functions, pointing to role for regulation cell maturation towards phenotype.
