摘要: Defluoridation of groundwater is major concern in several places around the world, such as North and East Africa, India China. In this paper, removal fluoride from model solutions a Tunisian sample was performed using calcite particles presence acetic acid batch experiments. After 1 h decantation, dead-end microfiltration further used to retain fluorite (CaF2) precipitates present supernatant. At 5 mg L-1 concentration, efficiency found increase 17.4% without 30.4% with 0.1 M acid. The mainly attributed renewal area available for adsorption on particles. concentration 50 L-1, equal 9.5% 94.3% addition precipitation result higher supersaturation solution. Optimum parameters were selected defluoridation initial 2.7 L-1. final F- after treatment 1.2 which below standard World Health Organisation. Keywords
