摘要: Nitrogen fixation of the nodule soybean is highly sensitive to oxygen deficiency such as provoked by waterlogging root system. This study aimed evaluate effects flooding on N metabolism in nodules soybean. Flooding resulted a marked decrease asparagine (the most abundant amino acid) and concomitant accumulation γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA). also strong reduction incorporation 15N2 acids. Nodule acids labelled before rapidly lost 15N during flooding, except for GABA, which initially increased declined slowly thereafter. Both nitrogenase activity expression nifH nifD genes were strongly decreased flooding. Expression synthetase SAS1 SAS2 was reduced, especially former. encoding enzyme glutamic decarboxylase (GAD1, GAD4, GAD5) suppressed GAD2 increased. Almost all changes observed reversible after draining. Possible GABA that may explain fluctuations these are discussed. It suggested has storage role stress.
