摘要: In the quest to create a low-power portable lab-on-a-chip system, we demonstrate specific binding and concentration of human CD8+ T-lymphocytes on an electrowetting-on-dielectric (EWOD)-based digital microfluidic platform using antibody-conjugated magnetic beads (MB-Abs). By small quantity nonionic surfactant, enable cell-based assays with selective EWOD device in air environment. High efficiency (∼92%) cells MB-Abs is achieved due intimate contact between (MBs) produced by circulating flow within droplet. MBs have been used manipulated droplets actuated before; reported here cell assay clinical protocol The present technique can be further extended capture other types suitable surface modification MBs.
