摘要: Preform design is an important aspect of the research and development forging processes, which plays a key role in improving product quality, such as material filling capacity reducing forming loads. In industry, preforms are generally designed by iterative trial-and-error approach. This approach, however, leads not only to increase tool cost but also prolonged production time. On basis minimum energy principle resistance law, new approach means 3D electrostatic field simulation geometric transformation proposed this paper preform shape. Two axisymmetric (a disk blind-hole) forgings long-axis part used demonstrate method, finite element package DEFORM simulate process for purpose verifying validity effectiveness
