摘要: An ATDM switching system comprises a serial to parallel converter arranged receive incoming packets of data (which include their own routing information) from several input ports in form and deliver them, format, Random Access Memory (RAM) such way that the queues within memory, one for each output port. Packets are then transferred queue turn, which delivers them respective format. The arrangement is when memory becomes full can accommodate by overwriting longest queue, technique significantly reduce total number lost during long term operation.
