摘要: The present in vivo study was performed to investigate the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, interleukin (IL)-1α, IL-6, and IL-8, primary molars for which pulpotomy clinically indicated, evaluate success rates three different agents employed cariously (CExp) or mechanically exposed (MExp) molars. Forty-seven were classified as MExp CExp according type pulpal exposure. Pulp tissue harvested analyzed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Subsequently, agents-calcium hydroxide (CH), mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), formocresol (FC)-were applied randomly, outcome observed radiographically 18 months. Levels IL-6 IL-8 significantly higher pulp than (P < 0.05). In CH group, teeth showed a rate teeth. There no significant difference between both FC MTA groups. have potential become indicators status can be monitored by researchers make prognosis vital therapies less uncertain. As yielded teeth, choice agent appears important this context.
