Our clinical experiences in paediatric cataract surgery

摘要: To analyse clinic results of paediatric cataract cases in our region. Sixty four eyes 37 patients, who underwent surgery with the diagnosis cataract, Adana Numune Education and Research Hospital Ophthalmology Clinic, between September 2003 December 2011, were included by study. Parents reasons for consulting hospital, ocular systematic diseases visual acuities after side effects during surgery, examined retrospectively. Mean age at first operation was 57.8±52.3 months (ranged from 2 to 176 months). follow up period 40.1 months. The reason parents’ apply hospital whiteness eye 21 (56.8%) patients. Hereditary found 19 (51.4%) In 11 (33.3%) patients best-corrected acuity higher than 0.5. There a significant difference unilateral bilateral groups terms (p=0.03). Postoperative fibrinoid reaction anterior chamber determined 28 (41.8%) eyes. Posterior capsule opacification developed 6 (9%) study frequency hereditary post operative previous studies. It detected that leukokoria had an important role diagnosis. also founded lower cataracts cataracts.
