Effects of information overload on productivity in enterprises: A literature review

摘要: Information handled by employees is an integral part in achieving enterprise's success. However the current information management tools often hinder productivity. This results major repercussions for businesses since their competitive advantage depends on optimal exploitation of enterprise data. paper addresses problem data overload from perspective. It explores related researches focusing its effects suggests that priority mitigating to be focused two main aspects, enterprises' processes and managerial aspects. The study also describes proposed solutions which have been used some firms tackling overload.
