摘要: Information on the association between obesity and initial phases of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is still limited, principally those regarding influence visceral adipose tissue. We investigated whether tissue more associated with reductions in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) than total abdominal hypertensive individuals stage 1-2 CKD. A cross-sectional study was implemented which involved 241 patients undergoing treatment at a primary health care facility. GFR estimated using equations based creatinine cystatin C levels. Explanatory variables included body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), (eVAT). The mean age years old 75.9% were female. According to BMI, 28.2% subjects obese. Prevalence increased WC eVAT 63.9% 58.5%, respectively. Results from assessment by WC, categories showed that only women (≥150 cm2) had lower Larsson (), Levey 2 3 () equations. same result not observed when MDRD equation employed. No found eVAT, serum creatinine. In early stages CKD, decreased C.
