摘要: A series of three replications were run to determine the reliability with which exposure protons produces a disruption cognitive performance, using novel object recognition task and operant responding on an ascending fixed-ratio task. For first two replications, rats exposed head-only exposures 1000 MeV/n at NASA Space Radiation Laboratory. third replication, subjects given or whole-body both 1000 150 MeV/n protons. The results characterized by lack consistency in effects performance these tasks, within between replications. factors that might influence implications for exploratory class missions are discussed.
