摘要: Combining helical volumetric CT acquisition and thin-slice thickness during breath hold provides an accurate assessment of both focal diffuse airway diseases. With multiple detector rows, compared to single slice CT, multislice can cover a greater volume simple hold, with better longitudinal in-plane spatial resolution improved temporal resolution. The result in data set allows the generation superior multiplanar 3-dimensional images airways, including those obtained from techniques developed specifically for imaging, such as bronchography virtual bronchoscopy. Improvement image analysis use spirometric control lung have made possible reproducible quantitative wall, lumen areas density. This airways will lead increasing research tool insights physiopathology obstructive disease, particularly COPD asthma, ultimate benefit clinical practice.
