摘要: Abstract The use of bituminous sub-ballast in railway tracks is regarded as an appropriate solution for improving the strength section. However, its widespread application, more in-depth studies are needed to assess efficacy with respect main requirements that this material must meet under various service conditions. Such conditions include range temperatures can occur during life tracks, which modify behaviour material. This paper therefore focuses on evaluating mechanical (under both routine and adverse expected lines extreme climates) comparison presented by conventional granular sub-ballast. In particular, performance examined need be met these materials (resistance plastic punching deformations, bearing capacity, stress dissipation, cracking resistance, waterproof properties) their tracks. At same time, influence global section was assessed types means a full-scale test. results demonstrated could improve response track protection remainder bed layers, since exhibited higher against loads imposed passing trains, lower permeability, capacity dissipate stresses transmitted ballast substructure. it also important consider temperature plays fundamental role resistance whilst declines sharply at temperatures. limit application regions where values parameter than those commonly recorded layer.
