Growth of epitaxial Sr2RuO4 films and heterostructures

摘要: Sr 2 RuO 4 is the only known layered perovskite that free of copper, yet superconducting. Its low metallic resistivity and excellent lattice match with YBa Cu 3 O 7-δ make it an attractive candidate for use as conductive electrodes to -based superconducting devices or a normal metal in SNS junctions. Single-domain a-axis oriented epitaxial films have been grown situ by pulsed laser deposition on (100) LaSrGaO substrates. c-axis LaAl 3, (110) NdGaO , SrTiO Heterostructures containing also grown. Resistivity versus temperature measurements reveal as-grown are metallic, but not
