Action of nitroglycerin on the coronary circulation in normal and in mild cardiac subjects.

摘要: Nitroglycerin has been used extensively as a coronary vasodilator. Its remarkable clinical effect presumed to be related direct action on the smooth muscle of arteriole. No observations have made nitroglycerin circulation in man. This report presents studies changes induced by drug 10 normal or nearly subjects. The authors present evidence that although vasodilatation does indeed occur, it appears secondary myocardial oxygen requirements. Hemodynamic revealed general decrease pressures both peripheral and pulmonary circuits; caution is urged concerning occasional severe hypotensive effects nitroglycerin.
