摘要: Abstract The purpose of this cadaveric study was to investigate how alignment the femoral component in knee arthroplasty may be influenced by entry site intramedullary rod. angle between rod and distal articular surface measured 20 non-arthritic femurs using three different points. Entry points 10 mm anterior intercondylar notch 8 medial point gave mean valgus angles 8° (S.D. 1.0) 10.2° 1.0), respectively. Regression analysis showed no relationship sex patient, body habitus, or leg length angulation femur. For total replacement which tibia is cut perpendicular its axis coronal plane, thus eliminating 3° tibial varus, we recommend a 5° with hole 7° an anteromedial hole. Resecting femur as recommended should enhance accuracy placement survival arthroplasties.
