摘要: BACKGROUND: Epidemiologic features of Kawasaki disease in China is still not clear. METHODS: A questionnaire form and diagnostic guidelines for were sent to hospitals Shanghai, which provided with pediatric medical care. All patients diagnosed during January 1998 through December 2002 recruited this study.RESULTS: total 768 reported. The incidence rates each year 16.79 (1998), 25.65 (1999), 28.16 (2000), 28.05 (2001), 36.76 (2002) per 100,000 children under 5 years age. male/female ratio was 1.83:1. age at onset ranged from 1 month 18.8 (median: 1.8 years). occurred more frequently spring summer. Fever the most common clinical symptom, followed by oral changes, extremities desquamate, rash, conjunctive congestion, lymphadenopathy, swelling, crissum desquamate. Cardiac abnormalities found 24.3% patients. cardiac abnormality coronary artery lesions including dilatation (68%) aneurysm (10%). case-fatality rate acute stage 0.26%. second 1.82% patients.CONCLUSIONS: Shanghai lower than that reported Japan, but higher those western countries. increasing trend incidence, sex distribution are similar previous reports. seasonal report Beijing different other reports.J Epidemiol 2006; 16: 9-14.
