THE ACTION OF THE ERYTHROPHLEUM ALKALOIDS UPON THE ISOLATED MAMMALIAN HEART

摘要: The cardiac action of the erythrophleum alkaloids, cassaine hydrochloride, nor-cassaidine erythrophleine sulfate, and coumingine was studied in heart-lung preparation dog. All alkaloids have a positive inotropic which leads to an increase work heart, particularly experimental heart failure. In large enough doses all lead changes rate irregularities rhythm. Our data indicate that larger ratio between minimal irregularity dose than coumingine. Erythrophleic acid is devoid any characteristic upon more 100 times sulfate.
