摘要: The World Health Organization currently does not recommend the use of dried blood spot specimens for drug resistance testing in patients undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ART). Therefore, HIV-1 using peripheral mononuclear cells (PBMCs) may be value resource-limited settings. We compared genotypic profiles plasma and PBMCs from failing ART two cities Honduras (Tegucigalpa San Pedro Sula), a country. One hundred were randomly selected longitudinal patient monitoring cohort. Plasma PBMC samples without identifier used testing. Sequence data analyzed, determined Stanford HIV Drug Resistance Database algorithm. Specimens with concordant between compartments 88% (95% CI: 80.3% - 94.5 %). Nine (12%, 95% 6.5% 21.3%) had discordant clinical significance. Logistic regression analyses indicated that on triple 17.24 times more likely to have profile than those non-triple therapies (OR=17.24, 3.48, 83.33), while increasing number regimens years decreased rate concordance (OR = 0.59, 0.32, 1.09 OR 0.62, 0.43, 0.88), respectively, less ART. Our results show high level profiles, indicating possibility resources-limited
