摘要: Aims: The primary objective of this study was to estimate the clinicopathological and molecular profile lung cancer patients along with evaluation their clinical characteristics at a tertiary care hospital in Northern India. Subjects Methods: A total 421 histology who were treated Max Super Speciality Hospitals included study. protocol conforms ethical guidelines 1975 Declaration Helsinki permission obtained from Ethics Committee before start Clinical profiling data collected patient's medical records. Results: There 330 (78.4%) men 91 (21.6%) women median age 62 years (range: 30–93 years). Of patients, 388 (92.2%) had nonsmall cell (NSCLC) whereas 33 (7.8%) SCLC histology. Histology gender significant association NSCLC (P < 0.05). Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) echinoderm microtubule-associated protein like 4-anaplastic lymphoma kinase (EML4-ALK) fusion gene testing done 120 93 respectively. 24 (20%) cases positive for EGFR mutations EML4-ALK present 8 (8.6%) out patients. Conclusions: Our confirms importance patient subgroup an aim identify exact targets that can benefit newer generation targeted therapies.
