摘要: Background and objective Human 8-hydroxyguanine glycosylase (hOGG1) is one of the DNA repair genes, which can damaged by specifically excising 8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine (8-OH-G). A considerable number studies investigating hOGG1 Ser326Cys polymorphism were in relation to various cancers. However, association with risk lung cancer inconsistency. The aim this study assess conducting a meta-analysis. Methods To identify all that are qualified for meta-analysis, we conducted computerized literature search MEDLINE database (before November, 2010). Two investigators independently extracted data reached consensus on items. Results According our limits, twenty-two case-control studies, including 8,575 cases 9,484 controls, selected Significant heterogeneity was found among those when excluding two not accorded Hard-Weinberg Equilibrium, remains performed well homogeneity. Compared Ser326 genotype, Cys326 genotype significantly increase (OR=1.24, 95%CI: 1.10-1.39, P < 0.001), especially Asian ethnic population hospital (OR=1.28, 1.11-1.49; OR=1.26, 1.09-1.46). Conclusion present indicates associated cancer, cancer. DOI: 10.3779/j.issn.1009-3419.2011.03.05
