摘要: Genistein, the principal isoflavone constituent of soybean, attracts much attention as a natural molecule with significant affinity towards targets potential medicinal interest, but also food supplement or prospective chemopreventive agent. Since its physicochemical properties are considered suboptimal for drug development, effort has been invested in designing analogs and conjugates hope to obtain compounds improved efficacy selectivity. The aim this article is summarize current knowledge about synthetic genistein derivatives discuss possible clinical application selected novel compounds. Some basic information concerning chemical reactivity genistein, relevant synthesis derivatives, presented.
