摘要: Two proteins that are found in bone and have vivo chondrogenic/osteogenic activity combination with a co-factor described. Both also were active EGF the vitro TGF-β assay. Each has molecular weight of approximately 26,000 daltons by SDS-PAGE. is reduced to single polypeptide indicating probably homodimers. One an N-terminal sequence identical human placenta-derived whereas other different from derived placenta. The two may be purified homogeneity using RP-HPLC or acetic acid-urea gel electrophoresis.
