摘要: PUFA of the n−6 and n−3 series have beneficial effects on key risk factors coronary heart disease (CHD). Our earlier studies intake FA composition plasma platelet phospholipids suggested need to improve nutritional status in Indian population. The present long-term study was conducted 80 middle-aged subjects (40 men 40 women) using subjects' own home-prepared diets evaluate dietary biochemical indices CHD risk. Substitution Blend G (equal proportions groundnut canola oils) for oil or substitution S sunflower increased α-linolenic acid (ALNA) fourfold decreased linoleic (LA)/ALNA ratio from 35 6 65 9, respectively. Twelve (six six who received were switched back administered 0.3 g daily long-chain (LC) fish oil. At end trial period both blends sexes, lipid apolipoprotein levels had not changed, ADP-induced aggregation decreased. In phospholipids, LA as well LCn-3 increased, suggesting competition between ALNA metabolism into respective LC-PUFA. Fish supplementation aggregation, cholesterol. On basis it calculated that 0.75% energy (en%) (2.2 g) (from vegetable may be required increase about same extent 0.1 en% (0.3 oils). Since play a critical role fetal growth development programming diet-related chronic diseases adults, an improvement cereal-based through use cooking oils containing 25–40% 4% contribute prevention Indians.
