摘要: Avian influenza viruses (AIV) are a threat to poultry production worldwide. Vaccination is utilized as component of control programs for both high pathogenicity (HP) and low (LP) AIV. Over 95% all AIV vaccine used in inactivated, adjuvanted products. To identify the best formulations chickens, vaccines were prepared with beta-propiolactone (BPL) inactivated A/British Columbia/314514-1/2004 H7N3 LP using ten commercially available or experimental adjuvants. Each formulation was evaluated immunogenicity chickens. Challenge studies an antigenically homologous strain HPAIV conducted compare protection against mortality measure reductions virus levels oral swabs. The four adjuvants from BPL antigen selected tested identically, but formalin virus. Mineral vegetable oil based generally induced highest antibody titers 100% seroconversion by 3weeks post vaccination. Chitosan positive significantly lower than those most Antibody calcium phosphate alginate groups similar non-adjuvanted All that received (0-20%) except vaccinated vaccines, where (70%) no (60-100% mortality). Virus shedding swabs variable among treatment groups. Formalin challenge compared These support use industry
