摘要: This study has found that the Maltose binding protein Aβ42 fusion (MBP-Aβ42) forms soluble oligomers while shorter MBP-Aβ16 and control MBP did not. MBP-Aβ42, but neither nor MBP, was toxic in a dose-dependent manner both yeast primary cortical neuronal cells. demonstrates potential utility of MBP-Aβ42 as reagent for drug screening assays cell cultures candidate further characterization.
