摘要: Protein–protein interactions form the proteinaceous network, which plays a central role in numerous processes cell. This review highlights main structures, properties of contact surfaces, and forces involved protein–protein interactions. The protein surfaces depend on their functions. characteristics short-lived complexes share some similarities with active sites enzymes. permanent resemble domain contacts or core. It is reasonable to consider complex formation as continuation folding. have unique structure properties, so they represent prospective targets for new generation drugs. During last decade, investigations been undertaken find design small molecules that block dimerization protein(peptide)–receptor interaction, other hand, induce dimerization.
