摘要: Innate immune cells must be able to distinguish between direct binding microbes and detection of components shed from the surface located at a distance. Dectin-1 (also known as CLEC7A) is pattern-recognition receptor expressed by myeloid phagocytes (macrophages, dendritic neutrophils) that detects β-glucans in fungal cell walls triggers cellular antimicrobial activity, including phagocytosis production reactive oxygen species (ROS). In contrast inflammatory responses stimulated upon soluble ligands other receptors, such Toll-like receptors (TLRs), these are only useful when comes into contact with microbe not spuriously activated stimuli. this study we show that, despite its ability bind both particulate β-glucan polymers, signalling β-glucans, which cluster synapse-like structures regulatory tyrosine phosphatases CD45 CD148 PTPRC PTPRJ, respectively) excluded (Supplementary Fig. 1). The 'phagocytic synapse' now provides model mechanism innate can microbial distance, thereby initiating they required.
