摘要: In this work, we studied the main characteristics of flowering, reproductive system and diversity pollinators for biofuel plant Jatropha curcas (L.) in a site tropical southeastern Mexico, within its center origin. The plants were monoecious with inflorescences unisexual flowers. male flowers produced from 3062-5016 pollen grains (266-647 per anther). fruits both geitonogamy xenogamy, although insect pollination significantly increased number quality fruits. A high flower visiting insects (36 species) was found, which nine classified as efficient pollinators. native stingless bees Scaptotrigona mexicana (Guerin-Meneville) Trigona (Tetragonisca) angustula (Latreille) most frequent visitors their presence coincided hours when stigma receptive. It is noteworthy that female open before flowers, favoring may explain genetic variability reported J. region world.
