Renal morphology in pigs with experimental hyperparathyroidism. Light-microscopic findings and some functional aspects.

摘要: Ultrastructural examinations were performed in three groups of pigs: one sham-operated control group, group subjected to thyroidectomy, and another injected with parathormone after thyroidectomy (TX + PTH). Attention was mainly paid the localization structural details calcium deposits which found TX PTH 78 150 hours first injection. Calcium epithelial cells lumina tubular system, especially proximal convoluted tubules. It is suggested that deposited mitochondria cytoplasmic vacuoles larger calcific bodies, occasionally concentric lamellation, are formed by coalescence small particles, induce degenerative changes epithelium may lead discharge material into lumina.
