摘要: Cadherins are Ca2+-dependent cell adhesion molecules that play an important role in tissue construction and morphogenesis multicellular organisms. Over the last few years, reports have emerged literature describing involvement of cadherins tumor invasion metastasis. typically demonstrate up down-regulation according to biological needs tissue. Additionally, up-regulation N-cadherin is thought be for formation early stages development. We studied surgical specimens patients with primary glioblastoma by microarray analysis found mRNA expression up-regulated compared normal brain. To study effects on metastasis vitro vivo, we overexpressed rat C6 glioma line which normally has low levels N-cadherin. resulted a slight decreased type IV collagen, fibronectin, laminin, but statistically significant I collagen. Furthermore, increased correlated dramatic decrease invasive behavior extracellular matrix assays. then proceeded these lines vivo intracranial model, inversely into surrounding tissues, irregular margins, extracranial invasion. In summary, data collectively malignant gliomas, may serve as prognostic indicator high-grade gliomas.
