摘要: In this work we investigate the growth of diamond film on a porous single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) paper by employing three different Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) systems: plasma-assisted hot filament, focused microwave plasma and linear antenna plasma. We observe that is strongly affected conditions in each CVD processes resulting SWNT/diamond composite structures. It also found only process allows penetration activated species into volume SWNT paper, whereas using other methods, grains are formed surface only. Moreover, structures within substrate influenced CH4/CO2/H2 gas content ratio. A key factor influencing formation compact keeping equilibrium between two competitive processes: establishing where structure can grow while etching/damage still kept at minimum. The morphology chemical composition materials were characterized scanning electron microscopy Raman spectroscopy.
