摘要: The traditional roadway level of service (LOS) is based on the volume–capacity (V/C) ratio, which measures volume traffic. However, this approach does not follow green transport trend, and it lacks comprehensive concepts time cost, environmental protection, potential social cost traffic safety. Given international focus development economies transport, study examined freeways in Taiwan to establish three indicators: travel delay, incremental carbon emissions, accidents. Traffic data from electronic toll collection system were collected analysed according factors derived different volumes speeds: pollution, results integrated into a safety index replace overall evaluation standard for freeway LOS. This intended use an online software application.
